El Portal Road to Yosemite reopening Sunday after rockslide
The rocks fell about two miles east of the park line in El Portal near the Arch Rock entrance off Highway 140, but it should be cleared by 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- UPDATE: Park officials say the road was cleared ahead of schedule and is now open.

El Portal Road is reopening Sunday for those heading to Yosemite National Park this weekend.

The road has been closed since Monday following a major rockslide. The rocks fell about two miles east of the park line in El Portal near the Arch Rock entrance off Highway 140.

No injuries or damage was reported.

The road will reopen at 6 a.m.
