Woman found in Visalia pool dies

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a drowning in Visalia.

It happened just after midnight at a home on Howard near Sowell. Officers say a 20-year-old woman was found in the pool and taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital, where she later died.

The victim was an invited guest at the home. Police say no foul play is suspected at this time, however the investigation is being handled by the violent crimes unit.
