Police investigating homicide after shooting in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In Central Fresno police are currently investigating a homicide that happened near Tyler and Thesta.

Officers said a man in his 40's, possibly 50's, was shot multiple times in front of his house.

One witness said the killing comes as a shock to the neighborhood because the victim was a kind and giving man.

At this point police don't have a suspect description and don't know why the man was targeted.
