Driver causes deadly crash after blowing stop sign in Madera Ranchos
The man in the SUV was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead following a traffic collision in the in Madera Ranchos late Friday night.

It happened near Road 36 and Avenue 15. Police say the driver of an SUV blew past a stop sign, colliding with another car that had stopped at the intersection.

The driver of the car was killed in the crash and has yet to be identified. The man in the SUV was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana.

He was transported to the hospital for treatment before being taken back into custody. He faces multiple charges.
