Two arrested for allegedly trespassing in areas evacuated by Detwiler Fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office arrested two people Friday night for trespassing in the evacuation area.

Thomas Allen and Daniel Thomas are accused of getting into the evacuation zone more than once. Deputies say the men were told if they stayed behind, they could not to leave their property or be driving around in the evacuation areas.

Authorities say they found them sneaking around Friday night and were arrested.

Deputies say they've been patrolling and protecting homes in the area and will continue to monitor empty properties.
