FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Four people are in police custody after firing gunshots and crashing into a building in Central Fresno.
Around 11:15 p.m. Monday officers heard 15 gunshots go off on Mayor Avenue in Southwest Fresno. They followed a car they believed the gunshots were fired from all the way to Divisadero and Glenn.
The suspects tried to get away from police, but lost control of the car and crashed into the Dickey Youth Community Center on Glenn. Three 18 year olds and one juvenile were arrested. Police say two of the four suffered injuries.
"The only people injured in this were a couple of the suspects, who... think the driver hit his face against the steering wheel and lacerated his face, think the passenger hit the front windshield," said Lt. Carl McKnight, Fresno Police.
Officers returned to the scene on Mayor to find an apartment complex was hit by the gunfire. No one was hurt.
