Some things to do this weekend across the Valley!

Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow

The 46th annual Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow takes place Saturday and Sunday in Madera County.

You are invited to observe and take part in Native American heritage and culture and sample traditional food. The event takes place at Minarets High School in O'Neals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It's being organized by the Sierra Mono Museum. Tickets are $2 in advance and $5 at the gate.

Fresno Chaffee Zoo: Ice Cream Zoofari

Enjoy unlimited ice cream on Saturday! Beat the heat at Fresno Chaffee Zoo's annual Ice Cream Zoofari.

This is your chance to sample more than 40 flavors of ice cream and enjoy live entertainment! Guests will satisfy their sweet cravings while strolling through the zoo, getting the latest scoop on their favorite animals and enjoying the kid-friendly entertainment!

Zoofari takes place on Saturday, August 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets prices range from $10 to $25.

Hilmar ice cream-making tour

In the North Valley, take an ice-cream making tour at the Hilmar Cheese Visitors Center on Friday.

Book a tour and create your own individual frozen dairy delight! It's just $3 per person. After the tour, you can eat and shop all things cheese.

BMX Jam

Check out the BMX Jam on Saturday at Mosqueda Park in Fresno.

The event is hosted by the Freewheel Project and will include an amateur competition and a pro exhibition along with food, drink, and other vendors.

The purpose of this event is to promote healthy life choices in youth through action sports.

It takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
