FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews kept a barn fire from spreading out of control in Fresno County.

The fire started just after 10:30 in the area of Highland and Nees, just east of Clovis. One person was living in a travel trailer near the fire, but was able to get away from the flames.

Firefighters say it happened at an operating farm in the area and several farming tools were lost in the blaze.

"Mostly just farm equipment and very odd end tools, tractors, equipment like that. Crews were able to get in and keep it from extending to vegetation," said Capt. Jeremiah Wittwer, Fresno County Fire.

Crews are working to find out what started the fire.
