2 suspects arrested in shooting death of Christopher Leon

Police have made two arrests in a robbery and murder at a jewelry and stereo shop in Southeast Fresno.

Angel Morelos, 18, and 17-year-old Angelo Sanchez are both in custody in connection with the death of Christopher Leon.

Leon was killed after he chased down thieves who stole jewelry from his parents' business.

Police say Leon was holding Morelos on the ground after a scuffle when Morelos grabbed a gun and shot him twice.

Morelos and four others got away at the time of the shooting.

Since then a 12-year-old and another juvenile have been captured--along with today's arrests of Morelos and Sanchez.
