2 alarm fire damages several structures in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews are working to determine the cause of a fire that damaged several structures in Central Fresno. It happened around 8:00 p.m. near Olive and Abby.

While crews were responding a second alarm was triggered by the fire department for additional units due to the severity of the blaze. When they arrived firefighters found a shed that was completely engulfed in flames which had quickly spread to three homes, six cars, and warehouse.

Fortunately, no one was inside the homes at the time and crews managed to knock down the fire fairly quickly.

A power-line was damaged in the blaze and residents in the area were without power for a few hours as PG&E worked on repairs.
