Clovis barbershop holds fundraiser for girl battling cancer

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local salon held a special fundraiser today in support of a young girl battling cancer.

Corky's Cuts for Kids held a bake sale to help Lindsay Weimer who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. Those who wanted to donate either had the option to purchase goods or get a haircut to help the family for the battle ahead.

Upon hearing the news, Corky's stepped in to help out.

"How grateful we are for the amazing outpouring of support, to people who've been donating to help, and it's been really amazing."

This was the first day of the fundraiser, and Corky's plans to have future events in Lindsay's honor.
