Fresno Unified students asking for help to send donations to Hurricane Harvey victims

Fresno, Calif. -- Fresno Unified Students are asking for your help in their massive effort to send relief to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

All the goods and supplies will help the students and families in a Houston area school district.

The school district will collect all the items at various schools starting next week. UPS has agreed to ship out the donations-- but the school district needs private donations of four to five thousand dollars to handle the shipping costs.

The district is not allowed to use public funds for the effort.

They also need more boxes.
