Police say a man was shot Saturday night outside a liquor store near Fruit and Olive in front of his wife and kids, but he was able to drive himself to the hospital.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- At least one person has been hospitalized following a shooting that took place around 8:30 p.m. in Central Fresno near Fruit and Olive.

They say a man was shot Saturday night outside a liquor store in front of his wife and kids. Police say his injury was not life-threatening, and he was shot in the leg and was able to drive himself to CRMC.

They say after some words were exchanged between the victim and suspect a fight broke out and that's when shots were fired. Officers say they have good surveillance video of the suspects who they describe as two Hispanic males.

Police say they don't believe the victim has any affiliation with a gang but believe the suspects are gang members and have enough reason to believe this was gang-related.
