Reel Pride Gay and Lesbian Film Festival now in its 28th year

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno's annual Reel Pride Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is underway in the Tower District.

The opening movie kicked off Wednesday night and featured Valley native and Broadway star Audra McDonald. The six-time Tony winner played the role of "Sally" in the movie "Hello Again."

Reel Pride runs through Sunday and features nearly 30 different movies, documentaries, and short films and most screenings are just $10.

Reel pride is now in its 28th year and is one of the oldest and largest LGBTQ film festivals in the U.S.
