FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Humane's Free-Fur-All event has already helped dozens of dogs and cats find their forever home and there is still time for you to adopt-- for free.

We told you earlier this month Granville Homes made a donation to cover the cost of all dog and pet adoptions. Since the beginning of the month, they have had 57 dog adoptions and 39 cat adoptions.

Amanda Allen, with Fresno Humane Animal Services, said it is heartwarming to see these pets go to a loving family.

"September we normally would have a four to six percent adoption rate of our overall intake of about 500 animals. So for us to have 57 adoptions is pretty amazing, something that never would have normally happened if Granville Home didn't up their hearts to the local animal shelter."

With no adoption fee that means you save $100.

This event goes through the end of September and there are still plenty of animals trying to find their forever homes.
