House fire in Visalia sends one to hospital for smoke inhalation

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters have gotten control of an early morning house fire in Visalia.

The fire was reported about five Friday morning at Race and Bridge streets. Roads are closed in the area at this time as fire officials continue their work.

Fire officials said one person was sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Five people were in the house at the time of the fire.

There is no word on what may have sparked the blaze.
