Man plunges to his death from helicopter in Malibu
A man died after falling or jumping from a private helicopter into Malibu waters on Saturday, Los Angeles County fire officials said.

MALIBU, Calif. -- A man died after falling or jumping from a private helicopter into Malibu waters on Saturday, Los Angeles County fire officials said.

The incident happened around 1:20 p.m. near the 23000 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Rescue crews pulled the victim out of the water, and he was pronounced dead by paramedics, officials said.

No further details were released. The investigation was ongoing.
