Georgia Dome goes out with a bang in scheduled implosion

The Georgia Dome is no more-- it was brought down in a scheduled implosion in Downtown Atlanta.

Nearly 5,000 pounds of explosives were used in the blast. Many people gathered Monday morning to watch it come down, which only took about 15 seconds.

The dome opened in 1992 and has been the site of many concerts, championship games, and even two super bowls but has since been replaced by the Mercedes-Benz Stadium that sits next door.
