Man arrested after crash on I-5 that left 1 dead

A late night crash killed one woman and sent a man to jail in Merced County. It happened just after midnight on Interstate 5 at Henry Miller Road near Santa Nella.

Officials said a 50-year-old man from Rancho Cordova collided with a 45-year-old woman from Berkeley.

The woman died at the scene. The man was arrested for driving under the influence.
