There is a sign posted at Fresno City women's soccer games that lists the countless championships and national rankings. To make it simpler it could just read, FCC women's soccer, perennial power.

"We had an amazing team last year that only gave up fvie goals, we've only given up five goals this year. Our big emphasis this year was to score goals, we struggled a little bit last year scoring goals," said head coach Oliver Germond.

Not the case this season, to date the Rams have outscored opponents 143-5 with 20 shutouts.

"We're all super talented individually. We have a lot of strengths. Everyone has different strengths and when we put those together it's like magic on the field," said Sophia Zertuche.

A roster made up completely of Central Valley talent.

"Bringing the talent together. It just shows how much there is in the valley and how much we have to offer. It's perfect because we are a great example for girls that are younger than us that this is a good opportunity to show our talent and get rewarded from it," said Zertuche.

Building blocks for life on and off the soccer pitch.

A lot of our kids transfer to four-year schools and have a lot of success on scholarships and we are proud of our success," said Germond.

A winning program in every aspect.
