9 puppies found behind plywood at Parlier home

PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) -- Parlier Animal Control found 9 adorable lab mix puppies behind some plywood at a home.

Officials said they received a call saying they could hear puppies crying and could see two of them behind some plywood. When officers arrived they found 9 puppies and said mom seems to roam in the area and won't let officers approach her.

A Parlier Police Officer took the initiative to bath the pups himself.

Officers are currently attempting to capture the mother.
