The smell of bacon is enough to put a smile on many people's faces so the thought of eating fake bacon might not sound appealing. But social media buzz can be a business' best friend.

The TTLA at Whole Foods includes tempeh tofu fakin bacon.

A Facebook post by entertaining food blogger Tabitha Brown attracted over a million views.

A few weeks later the TTLA sandwich is being sold at Whole Food stores all over.

Tofu bacon can be a tough sell but even skeptics at the Whole Foods in Fig Garden had their frowns turned upside down. And it's clearly passed the pop-up taste test.
