Police search for 4 suspect who burglarized Parlier business

PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) -- Twenty-five seconds of surveillance video inside the Variety Discount Store in Parlier is all it took to capture four men on camera quickly rummaging through retail.

It happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday. Police officers say the four men pried open the back door to get in.

Parlier Police Chief Jose Garza said, "Took a lot of expensive knives, they took clothing, I think, according to the owners, possibly $1,200 worth of property taken."

It's no shock to their neighbors at Fox Drugstore in the same plaza. A pharmacy tech says it's feeling all too familiar, they were just burglarized in December and say it's been a frequent pattern over the years.

Police officers do not know if the same suspects are involved in the drug store break-in but staff hopes whoever is committing these crimes are caught soon and are thankful it was not done while they were there.

The Parlier Police Department says it is possible the suspects could be gang-related and are asking anyone who has information about this burglary to contact them at 559-646-6600.
