FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for two robbers after they robbed a Johnny Quik store in Northwest Fresno.

Police have a pretty good suspect description but still need the public's help. The suspects were able to get away with over $500-- but that was it.

Fresno Police officers said the robbery happened just after 10:30 Sunday night at the store on Shaw and Brawley. They said two men walked into the store armed.

The suspects were not armed with guns-- one was carrying a bat and the other wearing brass knuckles. After going into this store they demanded cash from the clerk.

Lt. Carl McKnight, with the Fresno Police, said, "Last bit of info over here is that they fled in a gold Honda Civic vehicle-- they're probably in their early 20's."

Police also said one of the suspects was wearing a black handkerchief with leaves on it-- the other was wearing a mask.

The clerk walked away uninjured.

Anyone who was in the area last night who might have seen something or has information about this is asked to call Fresno Police.
