Man wanted for Capital Murder in Fresno arrested

An arrest has been made in a deadly triple shooting that shook a Northwest Fresno neighborhood.

Fresno homicide detectives are on their way to Texas where the suspect is Sunday night.

Lavale Vean was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Roberto Ramos -- Ramos' wife and child were also hit by gunfire but survived their injuries.

Friday night, Vean took Texas State Troopers on a chase that crossed two counties. Once in Childress city limits, sheriff's deputies and police helped stop the car, but only Vean's two passengers were accounted for.

Several hours later, Vean was found in a Motel 6 and booked into the Childress County Jail for evading arrest.
