MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- One K-9 officer was called out to a traffic stop Saturday and was alerted to the smell of narcotics in the suspect's vehicle.
A probable cause search revealed the male driver had $85,000 inside his vehicle in Ziploc sandwich bags.
The suspect admitted the currency was for the sale of drugs.
Another K-9 officer helped at a traffic stop on Friday, sniffing out 26 pounds of crystal methamphetamine hidden inside the vehicle.
