To give you an idea of how much work goes into planning an event like this, organizers have already started on next year's.

The anticipation is building as exhibitors put the finishing touches on their products. For three days, more than 1,600 industry leaders from around the world will showcase the latest and greatest when it comes to their craft.

Last year, 71 countries were represented at the Agri-center.

Vice Chairman Carla Kahl says this year pre-sales have already surpassed last year so they're expecting record attendance. Twenty additional acres of parking were added to accommodate the growth.

"We've toyed with the idea of expanding the exhibit space but at some point, you need to make sure you're offering high quality to the exhibitors you have," Kahl said.

New security precautions in place include barriers at the entrance so people cannot drive onto the grounds. On top of those added security measures, they have designated protesting areas.
