Group of Valley residents work to bring smiles to remote village in Nicaragua
It's being called Operation Hope. It has grown over the past few years to now have 14 volunteers helping hundreds lead better lives.

Rene Moncada and other members of Sunset Rotary Club have been on this mission for four years. They are going back this week to provide more, nearly instant dentures, that give the patients the ability to eat and speak better.

Lisa Casarez, a social worker and founder of Angels of Grace is also going.

"I'll interpret for the dentists who are going to be providing these services so there is a genuine connection between the patient and the doctor and the dentist," Casarez said.

In addition, Dr. Kuldip Thusu, of Dinuba is helping to provide a water system to the village.

"I have seen malnourishment, I have seen public health issues, I have seen sanitation issues and it's only prudent for us to help this community," Thusu said.
