Fresno State Movie Screening

On Friday night at Fresno State, CineCulture will be screening a movie titled electric shadows. This movie marks the directing debut of one of the few active female film directors in China. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Support Blue Run

Get your running shoes ready for a chance to win a bobblehead of Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer. On Saturday morning at Woodward Park, hundreds will run or walk in the third Annual Support Blue Run. There are two races--the two-mile or 10k. The bobbleheads will only be given out to some winners. They are being saved for the first through fifth place winners of the 10k race.

Trashique

Local models will hit the runway Saturday night at Trashique. Models will be dressed in fashions all made from recycled materials or trash. This year it is going to be held in a new location. The signature flight support hangar near the Fresno airport. This is the primary fundraiser for the Fresno Art Museum. Tickets start at $85.

Fresno Philharmonic at Saroyan Theatre

On Sunday the Fresno Philharmonic will be playing in honor of a well-known composer, conductor, educator, pianist, cultural ambassador and humanitarian. The show starts at three at the Saroyan Theatre. Tickets range from $25 to $79.


Foodie's Workshop

Learn prepping and cooking techniques this Sunday at a foodie's workshop. Oooby is hosting the event and people will learn how things are grown, where they come from and why it is important to know the process of production. You can learn to prep and cooking techniques. The food will be vegetarian and plant-based. This is a free workshop and will be held at Common Space in Fresno. Whether you want to go for a run or learn more about cooking. There is plenty for you do to this weekend.
