2 teens arrested in Tulare County for separate social media threats
Tulare Police arrested two Tulare High School students at separate campuses on Friday for making threats.

TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare Police arrested two Tulare High School students at separate campuses on Friday for making threats.

A 14-year-old was arrested at Tulare Western for threatening to carry out a school shooting. Administrators said they located the student after receiving a tip, along with other information from witnesses.

In a separate case at Mission Oak High School, a 16-year-old student made threats to a teacher about carrying out a school shooting. The 16-year-old was arrested and later said he was "only joking".

Both students were booked at the Tulare County Juvenile Justice Center.
