Taco Bell robbed at gunpoint in East Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police are searching for two suspects after police say they entered a Taco Bell on McKinley and Winery in East Central Fresno and robbed the restaurant.

Officers say the suspects were armed with an assault rifle and demanded an employee open the register.

Police say they took off with an unknown amount of cash and ran east toward a nearby apartment complex. Everyone inside the restaurant eating ran out as well.

One suspect had a grey sweatshirt on at the time of the robbery, and the other was dressed in all black. Both wore bandanas over their faces, but are believed to be teenagers.
