FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Arthur Hernandez took notes and held rosary beads as several more former patients took the stand Friday to describe what evolved throughout their therapy sessions.

Fresno chiropractor on trial for sex crimes against patients

The victims are being assisted by the Spanish interpreter. Two were questioned at length about why their version of the sex crimes was more in-depth on the stand than when they initially told Fresno police detectives. Attorney Dan Bacon grilled victims about evolving details and specific circumstances.

One victim explained her position saying she was interviewed by police a few days after the assault and was nervous.

The victims were questioned repeatedly about why they didn't report the crimes immediately. At least one woman said she returned to complete her treatment so she could increase the value of her car accident case.

All eight victims took the stand during the preliminary hearing. Hernandez has had a lot of support from his family and a priest and two nuns have also watched the proceedings.
