WASHINGTON, D.C. (KFSN) -- A man committed suicide outside the White House on Saturday, sparking panic and sending the parts of the nation's capital into lockdown.
The incident happened just outside the north fence of the building when Secret Service officials say a man pulled out a gun and fired several rounds. None of them appeared to be directed at the White House.
The Secret Service says its officers did not open fire and there are no reports of any other injuries as people were captured running down the street.
