Traditional Easter egg hunt in Merced brings thousands of smiles

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of people got into the Easter spirit hunting for eggs at Applegate Park in Merced.

More than 5,000 eggs were stuffed with candy as eager children raced to find them.

It was the 28th year of the event held by the greater Kiwanis Club of Merced.
