Man recovering in hospital after hang glider flew into tree
Emergency crews rescued the hang glider that flew into a tree around 7 p.m.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Emergency crews rescued the hang glider that flew into a tree around 7 p.m.

The man was hanging six feet above the ground when crews found him.

Tulare County Fire officials say it took some time to find him but eventually located him near Rocky Hill between Porterville and Strathmore.

The man was injured in the crash and was taken by helicopter to the hospital.

He is expected to be okay.
