Body found along Highway 41

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating the discovery of a body found in Northeast Fresno.

The body was located Thursday on an embankment near the onramp from Herndon to Highway 41 and the body appears to have been there for some time.

During the CHP's initial investigation, it was determined that the man appeared to be homeless and died from natural causes.

The identity of the man has not yet been released.
