Turlock woman dead after car overturns into field

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 65-year-old woman from Turlock is dead after her car overturned into a field in Merced County.

It happened just before 8 a.m. near East Avenue and Hall Road.

CHP says her car went onto the shoulder of the road, before flipping over multiple times and landing on its roof.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the woman to lose control.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
