4 arrested after Central Fresno business burglary

FRESNO, Calif. -- Four people are accused of breaking into a hair salon in Central Fresno.

Officers responded to the Best Hair and Nails near Olive Avenue and First Street around midnight and saw four suspects nearby. The men ran into a neighborhood and officers caught up to one of them with a cash register still in hand. A K-9 was used to bring another one of the suspects into custody.

Officers say the suspects broke into a hot water closet outside the salon and kicked in a sheet rock wall to get inside. Police say the suspects were trying to get into a pharmacy next door, but were a bit off in their calculations.
