4 bulldog gang members accused of strong arm robbery

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police said they arrested four bulldog gang members on suspicion of strong arm robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Around 11:45 a.m. on Friday, a woman at an apartment complex franticly told an officer that a man had been beaten unconscious in the carport of an apartment complex, then dragged into a nearby apartment on Lane Avenue and Chestnut Avenue in Southwest Fresno.

The officer said he followed a blood trail from the carport to an apartment where he found 22-year-old Jonathan Herrera. The officer said Herrera had blood on his clothing, which he claimed was from a nose bleed.

After calling for backup, officers said entered the apartment and found three additional gang members. During the search, they said the victim was found unconscious on the floor of a bedroom.

Police said, the victim had property stolen from him and one of the suspects was in possession of the stolen goods.

The suspects: Jonathan Herrera 22 years, Steven Flores 21 years, Christopher Flores 24 years, and 15-year-old juvenile, all from Fresno were booked into the Fresno County Jail and Juvenile hall for several charges including robbery, felony battery, and assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
