Anonymous drought surveys sent to farmers
Anonymous surveys are being sent to South Valley farmers to get a better idea of how the drought is impacting them.

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Anonymous surveys are being sent to South Valley farmers to get a better idea of how the drought is impacting them. All the surveys collected will be sent to Sacramento.

The hope is that lawmakers and emergency services will look though the information and create policies to help the drought emergency. The survey includes information about crop damage, crop loss and water well failures.

So far, numbers from the Tulare County Office of Emergency Services show 525 private wells have run dry in the county.
