Barber shot multiple times in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A barber shot while cutting hair Tuesday night is in critical condition at the hospital. It happened around 8:00 p.m. near Fresno Street and Ashlan Avenue at Sharp Kuts barbershop.

Investigators said the barber and two other people were inside the shop when several rounds were fired into the business from the outside.

The victim was hit twice in the leg and chest and rushed to Community Regional Medical Center.

Police at this point do not know if the man hit was the intend target or if this was a random act of violence.

Police also are not releasing any details about the suspects involved.
