FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a driver near Kingsburg early Saturday morning.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 99, south of Road 12, just after midnight. Officers say a big rig drifted into the center divide and hit a parked water truck, which then hit a parked dump truck.
The impact killed the driver of the big rig. He's only been identified as a 37-year-old man from Ceres.
The crash also sent oil spilling out onto the roadway. One of the southbound lanes was temporarily closed during the cleanup.
