FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The body of a man who drowned at Hume Lake on Saturday has been recovered, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies say they responded to the area around 2:15 p.m. after a relative reported that the 32-year-old victim disappeared below the surface of Hume Lake and was presumed to have drowned.

The sheriff's office helicopter searched the area from the sky but couldn't see the swimmer because of low visibility. Sheriff's officials say the dive team was preparing to enter the water, when the Forest Service recovered the victim's body just after 4:30 p.m.

Investigators say no foul play is suspected. The victim's name and hometown have not been released.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at (559) 600-3111.
