FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local business that sells Fresno State Bulldogs jerseys was burglarized early Tuesday morning. The thieves got away with thousands in merchandise and it was all caught on camera.

The business called the Bulldog Zone is on Shaw Avenue. The minute the glass door broke, a loud alarm was blaring. But it didn't stop the burglars, who police believe may not be the biggest Fresno State fans, but gang members.

Surveillance video shows how thieves busted the front door of the Bulldog Zone just before 2am. They threw a river rock, then kicked the bottom part of it, until it breaks.

Immediately, one of the thieves starts grabbing sweatshirts off the nearest rack, while his accomplice waits on the other side with a large duffel bag.

Store manager Misty Bassham said, "The guy that came in, picked up entire racks of clothing and shoves it under the door to the other guy that has the bag."

In the video, it's clear the burglars are not wearing gloves. According to investigators, crime scene processors got good fingerprints at the scene. What is also clear, the pair was fast and focused only on Bulldogs gear.

Don Gross with the Fresno Police Department said, "Interesting to us, they were only after merchandise, it appeared they didn't go anywhere near the cash register or make any attempts to take that that."

Bassham is still totaling up with they got away with.

According to police, the thieves were only inside the business less than a minute during their initial visit. But they returned about a minute later, for more expensive stuff.

"The Fresno State helmets that were displayed were on this rack, the same as the red one that you see there," said Bassham. "There was a white one, a black one and then a new chrome one, which retails for $215."

They also took nine of the black Derek Carr jerseys that sell for $90 each. The store manager says she wasn't surprised her business was targeted, but she was shocked about something else.

Bassham explained, "I'm always surprised that nobody stops and there's got to be people that see what's going on."

Police are working to identify the suspects. If they are gang members, they could be facing additional charges.

Gross added, "That's always a concern, obviously when people are taking items they can do that for the benefit of a gang. If that's the case, we will look toward gang enhancements."

On their way out, the thieves collected more than they could carry, and ended up dropping items throughout the store and all the way to their car.

The thieves covered their faces somewhat. One had a part of his face covered and the other just wore a hoody.

If you recognize the suspects, or have any leads, Fresno police want to hear from you.
