FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A driver's mistake has shut down a Northwest Fresno business indefinitely for repairs. There's a huge hole that will need to be patched up at Doghouse Pet Supplies at Palm and Bullard avenues.

A store employee says a car plowed into the front of the business Monday afternoon when the driver stepped on the gas instead of the brake while pulling into a parking stall.

"I'd just got done helping a customer at the register and seeing her coming in, and ran to the other side of the store for my life. And then she stopped right there by the office, and then she was getting ready to push the gas again, go all the way through the store, and so I had to yell at her to stop and put it in park," employee Tina Cox said.

The accident left the inside of the business in shambles. There were two customers inside the store along with the clerk at the time of the crash, but no one was injured.
