Cat Haven back open
Project Survival's Cat Haven is back open.

DUNLAP, Calif. (KFSN) -- Project Survival's Cat Haven is back open.

The popular sanctuary for exotic cats along Highway 180 voluntarily closed last month because of the Rough Fire threat.

As a precaution, the sanctuary sent three bobcats to Fresno's Chaffee Zoo, while bigger animals were housed in other parts of the state.

They're all back home now and tours resumed at ten this morning.

Staff members say they had a good turnout and are now on their winter hours, which means they'll be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
