FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 3-year-old boy died after being pulled from a swimming pool in Fresno County Saturday morning.
Fresno County Sheriff's officials say a deputy responded to a home near Ashlan and McCall avenues around 8:45 a.m. after family members found the child at the bottom of the pool.
The family performed CPR until the deputy arrived and took over. The boy was airlifted to Children's Hospital Central California, where he died.
The sheriff's office says the 3-year-old was unattended for about 10 to 15 minutes before being found.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, but at this point no one is facing any charges.
