FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two hundred pounds of stolen beeswax has led to an arrest in Madera County.

Investigators say a self-proclaimed beekeeper from Chowchilla is accused of taking about $2,000 worth of the wax from a farm over the weekend. Beeswax is commonly used to make candles, some foods and cosmetics.

Karl Robert Glick, 26, was arrested on Saturday after a honey farmer discovered equipment missing from his shop. Deputies reportedly found the beeswax, as well as the other stolen items, on Glick's property.

Glick is accused of selling the stolen wax to a company in Fresno.
