A Coalinga man woke up to find an intruder in his bedroom. Then, he held him down until police showed up.

COALINGA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Coalinga man woke up to find an intruder in his bedroom. Then, he held him down until police showed up.

Coalinga police say a 16-year-old boy likely made his way through an unlocked door. He wore a wig and bandana to conceal his identity.

Investigators said when the homeowner saw the suspect in his bedroom near his wife he jumped up and tackled him as his wife called the police.

The teenager is on probation for another residential burglary in the neighborhood.

He was arrested and brought to the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Campus.
