MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Detectives are trying to find out who was stealing credit card information in the North Valley.

A credit card skimming device was found at one of the pumps at the Woodland Market gas station in Mariposa County. Investigators say the device is used by criminals to steal credit card information from the cards swiped at the pumps.

Only one pump was rigged with a skimmer, and it has since been removed.

Detectives recommend anyone who used a credit or debit card at that market to call police and their financial institution.
